The Dragoon Band joins forces with the Lappeenranta City Orchestra and the Lappeenranta City Theatre with a new May Day themed concert series Rakkaudesta vappuun! (The Love of Walpurgis Day!)
The entire Dragoon Band and the Lappeenranta Philharmonic Orchestra will perform on stage, with actors from the Lappeenranta City Theatre as soloists and hosts. The main theme of the concert is the celebration of the Finnish May Day celebrations and the love of spring.
Soloists: Seppo Kaisanlahti, Noora Koski, Leena Nuora, Volter Putro and Netta Salonsaari
