Memorial Ceremony for the End of the Winter War

This year, the memorial church service marking the end of the Winter War will be held at Mikaelinkirkko on Friday, 13 March 2026 at 18:00.

The service will include a speech by Military Chaplain Jasmin Huikku, with Reverend Jani Kairavuo serving as liturgist. Music will be provided by the Navy Band conducted by Matti Laiho, the Turku War Veterans’ Heritage Choir – the men’s choir Laulun ystävät led by Pekka Salminen, and the Puolala School Music Classes’ choir Pajulinnut, conducted by Anni Susi.

The duration of the event is approximately one hour.
