Korundi, Rovaniemi

The audience is in for colourful, narrative Russian music, including Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and
the Wolf. Peter and the Wolf is often thought to be for children. However, this concert is not
intended for the smallest of the family. Instead, if offers a versatile range of narrative and
descriptive musical art to cater for adult taste as well. Music by great Russian master composers
including Shostakovitch, Rimsky-Korsakov etc, is on the programme.
