The Dragoon Band welcomes guests from the other side of the Atlantic when Jim Baxter and Melanie Brooks take their places in the orchestra. Baxter is the conductor of the 34th Infantry Division’s band. Brooks, who has also studied in Finland, is an assistant professor in the Department of Music at Winona State University and conducts the school’s orchestras.

Fanfare Organum offers its listeners a massive sound from all over the church. This time, the air not only circulates in the brass instruments, but the band is also amplified by an organ. The organ parts of the concert will be performed by Riina Tölli, cantor of the Lappee parish.
