Ceremonia!

At the Military Music Tradition Day concert, ceremonial melodies and majestic concert music will be performed. The soloists are coloratura soprano Johanna Takalo, saxophonist Samu Metsänen, and organist Eero Rautasuo. The concert will be conducted by the Chief Military Musician Timo Kotilainen and the Chief Conductor of the Guards’ Band, Major Jaakko Nurila.

The concert opens with Juha Pisto’s new piece, based on the March of the Karelia Jaegers, composed for the ceremonial occasions of the Guards.
