A concert full of youthful energy and atmospheric, programmatic prog – concert music for rock bands!

The musicians of the Conscript Band showcase their virtuosity in a concert that breaks genre boundaries and dives into the worlds of progressive rock, pop and fusion. The programme features a diverse selection of Finnish and international music, ranging from the 1970s to the present day. Expect both classic prog favourites and ambitious, intricate pop songs spanning several decades.

For the ProG concert, the stage will be taken by the band performance conducting class of the Conscript Band’s NCO Course.

The concert is the class’s main project, with the students taking responsibility for everything from arranging and preparing the music to the overall production and practical arrangements of the event.

The concert lasts approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, including an interval.
