Irina has enjoyed a successful solo career for over twenty years.
Jore Marjaranta is a singer-songwriter known not only for his solo work but also for being part of the bands Leningrad Cowboys and Guitar Slingers.

Irina rose to national fame in 2004 with her debut album Vahva, instantly becoming one of Finland’s top artists — a position she has maintained for two decades. In addition to her solo career, she is widely recognized in Finland as one of the vocalists on the popular TV show Elämäni biisi. She has released eight studio albums, including the critically acclaimed Vahva (which won two Emma Awards), and the platinum-certified albums Älä riko kaavaa (2005) and Liiba laaba (2007). Her most recent studio album, Haluun olla yksin (2021), features the title track, which became one of the biggest hits of her career. That song has spent an impressive 121 weeks on the Finnish radio Top 200 chart, including nine weeks at number one, and has been streamed over 6.5 million times, earning a platinum certification.

Jore Marjaranta began his solo career in 2000 and has released seven albums. Like Irina, he is also known as a regular vocalist on Elämäni biisi. Jore has many well-known songs to his name, including Haaveet kaatuu from the movie Pahat Pojat, Miten pelko lähtee from Minä ja Morrison, Niin kaunis on Helsinki nyt, Tiedän rakkaus elää, Tavallista elämää, Kävelet tähtiin päin, Huomaan vain sinut, Mikset sä jäänyt. 

Jore first gained recognition in the early 1990s as a member of Leningrad Cowboys, touring the world and performing at major events such as the 1994 MTV Video Music Awards in New York and with the Red Army Choir at Helsinki’s Senate Square in 1993.

This year marks over 40 years since Jore’s first band, The Clap, performed an album release show at the legendary Tavastia Club in Helsinki. His other bands have included the Albert Järvinen Band and Guitar Slingers.
