MILjazz 2025: Hämeenlinna

The Finnish Defence Forces’ energetic MILjazz tour arrives this year on 30 May in Hämeenlinna’s Linnanpuisto and brings summer with it again! The no-cost, feel-good outdoor event will offer its listeners upbeat music and an authentic festival atmosphere.

19:35 The Conscript Band’s Showband

Before the music performances, the audience will have the opportunity to visit the Defence Forces exhibition area, where combat equipment and vehicles will be on display. The equipment exhibition and demonstration areas will be open from 14:00 to 17:30. The Soldiers’ Home will be serving throughout the event.

The concert part starts at 18:00 and continues until about 21:30. In Hämeenlinna, the first to take to the stage will be the Air Force Big Band. The band will entertain the audience with the brilliant Iina Salin as soloist. The evening will be crowned by the Conscript Band’s Showband, whose energetic performances captivate audiences year after year.

Arrival: It is recommended to arrive at the event are by foot. The walking distance is 1,1 km from the bus station and 1,7 km from the train station. Those arriving with their own car, should park at Kaivoparkki (Kaivokatu 13), which is located 1,5 km from Linnanpuisto. There are parking spaces for people with reduced mobility in Linnanpuisto.
