MILjazz 2025: Jyväskylä

The Finnish Defence Forces’ energetic MILjazz tour arrives this year on 2 June in Jyväskylä’s Lounaispuisto and brings summer with it again! The no-cost, feel-good outdoor event will offer its listeners upbeat music and an authentic festival atmosphere.

Concert schedule:

18:00 The Navy’s Small Entertainment Orchestra & We Love Vocals
19:10 The Air Force Big Band & Iina Salin
20:20 The Conscript Band’s Showband

Before the music performances, the audience will have the opportunity to visit the Finnish Red Cross and the Air Force Academy’s demonstration areas. The Soldiers’ Home will also be present during the event.

The concert part starts at 18:00 and continues until about 21:30. In Jyväskylä, the stage will first be taken over by the Navy’s Small Entertainment Orchestra together with the vocal group We Love Vocals. Accompanied by an 11-member ensemble, the trio of three stunning vocalists will perform both summer classics and more recent hits, offering a unique experience for the MILjazz audience. In all MILjazz cities, the Air Force Big Band will take to the stage to entertain the audience with the brilliant Iina Salin as soloist. The evening will be crowned by the Conscript Band’s Showband, whose energetic performances captivate audiences year after year.
